Colloidal silver combined with H2O2 is quickly proving to be an effective combination. This combination can be used in oral, IV and external treatments. Please keep in mind that IV treatments should be considered highly experimental.

Adding H2O2 to a completed batch of colloidal silver ionizes silver particles remaining in the solution. In fact, observations demonstrate that extremely small amounts of ionic silver often plate onto glass surfaces. By taking a glass dropper exposed to colloidal silver and adding a 3% H2O2 colloidal silver solution, this reaction becomes visably evident as the metallic silver is ionized.

According to Water and Science Technology, Volume 31 5-6, a 1000:1 solution of colloidal silver to H2O2 is sufficient to increase the efficacy of colloidal silver by up to 100 times under some circumstances ( which remain unknown ) against bacterial infections.

High H2O2 colloidal silver strengths can be used externally with fine results. A 3% H2O2 colloidal silver solution can be mixed and used as an excellent disinfectant and water treatment method, and can be used as a skin cleanser/conditioner for healthy skin tissues.

H2O2 as an addition to colloidal silver is not very well documented although the mechanisms at work are. Two treatment philosophies prevail:

1) Using colloidal silver to augment H2O2 therapy. A 1:1000 colloidal silver to H2O2 solution is created. It is wise to dilute the H2O2 down to the desired concentration, and then add the small amount of colloidal silver to the end solution. Then, one uses this end solution as one normally would in H2O2 therapy. Adding three drops of a 3% H2O2 solution to six to eight ounces of water for internal use, as previously mentioned, is the standard recommended starting point ( see section below for more information ). For external use and for use as a mouthwash, the 3% end solution need not be diluted. The H2O2/colloidal silver external solution is EXCELLENT to treat ear conditions and infections that use the inner ear as an "incubation chamber". CAUTION: A 3% H2O2 solution created from colloidal silver is much more reactive than a standard 3% H2O2 solution. If one has experienced chronic ear or other tissue infections, unpleasantness can be avoided by using a 1.5% dilution. Simply take the 3% end solution, and dilute it further.

Colloidal Silver and Hydrogen Peroxide Benefits of the Ear

I like to use it for cleaning out my ears when feeling waxy. I simply tilt my head and put 3-6 drops in the ear and let it sit for 5 minutes. You can hear the liquid crackling and popping in your ear, that's good and means its killing bacteria and removing wax. After you're done I tilt my head the other way so it will drain out and I do the other ear. You'll probably notice more crackling and popping in one ear than the other. Finally I recommend doing another round with just some distilled water to help wash everything away.

1. Remove Wax. Wax builds up in your ear over time. Though this is normal, it can sometimes become bothersome if the wax builds up enough that it obstructs your hearing or feels uncomfortable. Hydrogen peroxide can soften the wax and aid in removing it.
2. Treat Ear Infection. Hydrogen peroxide is excellent at killing bacteria, and so it can often help treat an infection in your ear. This is especially good for small scrapes or cuts inside the ear.
3. Prevent Colds and Flu. Some believe that putting small amounts of hydrogen peroxide in your ears can help you prevent colds or make them less severe. This might allow the hydrogen peroxide to enter your nasal area, thus killing bacteria there.
4. Heal Pierced Ears. Pierced ears are prone to infection until they heal. The antibacterial action of hydrogen peroxide means you can have pierced ears without worry about infections.
   
   Colloidal silver is perhaps the world’s simplest and most effective cure for ear infections. That’s because it is all-natural, comes in liquid form which can easily be dropped into the ear using a standard eyedropper, and is easily available over-the-counter at health food stores or through internet sources. What’s more, unlike conventional prescription antibiotic drugs which are designed to work against specific classes of bacteria, and won’t work at all against fungal pathogens or viruses, colloidal silver has very broad spectrum antibiotic, antiviral and anti-fungal qualities. Indeed, it almost always works regardless of what’s causing your infection.
   
   And unlike conventional antibiotic drugs, colloidal silver can’t contribute to the problem of mutating pathogens, because it doesn't work the same way conventional antibiotic drugs do. Instead of essentially poisoning the pathogens like antibiotic drugs do, the tiny, sub-microscopic particles of pure mineral silver in colloidal silver simply adhere to the cell walls of harmful microorganisms, inhibiting enzyme production and, in effect, smothering them. If the silver particles are small enough, they can even adhere to the DNA of viruses, and disrupt the ability of the viruses to replicate, altogether preventing the spread of viral infections.
   
   Both bacteria and viruses can be present in cases of ear infection. And oft-times a fungus can be involved, as is commonly the case with swimmer's ear. Clearly, conventional antibiotic drugs are inadequate treatments for such infections since they are completely ineffective against fungal and viral pathogens, and in many cases barely effective against bacteria. But colloidal silver known to be effective against all of these pathogens.
