4 Elements

The elemental system used in Medieval alchemy was developed primarily by the Persian alchemist Jābir ibn Hayyān. His system consisted of the four classical elements of air, earth, fire, and water, in addition to two philosophical elements: sulphur, characterizing the principle of combustibility, "the stone which burns"; and mercury, characterizing the principle of metallic properties. They were seen by early alchemists as idealized expressions of irreducibile components of the universe and are of larger consideration within philosophical alchemy.

The Four Elements and Astrology

The four elements are believed to rule the 12 zodiac signs.  The different elemental properties have been associated with behavioral attributes and personalities of individuals; persons born under a particular zodiac are believed to have characteristics similar to that of the element governing the sign. As such,

The four essential elements exist in all of us and their unique combinations determine our distinct personalities. These elements represent energy and symbolize different facets of human life. They all come from nature. Consequently, by connecting with them and understanding their presence in us, we become aware of our connection with nature and our relationship with the divine.

Fractional distillation

Fractional distillation is the separation of a mixture into its component parts, or fractions, separating chemical compounds by their boiling point by heating them to a temperature at which one or more fractions of the compound will vaporize. Bacsically, it uses distillation to fractionate.

Oil for example is also fractionated also to where some parts make plastics, and other parts run your car.

As the liquid being distilled is heated, the vapors that form will be richest in the component of the mixture that boils at the lowest temperature. This is why the Fire is the First Part. Next comes The Air element, followed by the Earth element and lastly the Water element.

My Distiller does a gallon of water at a time so the first quart is Fire water, then the next quart Air water, Earth water and then the last quart is Water water. I start off with locally harvested Mountain Spring water from Colorado and the entire process for my machine takes 4 hours per gallon. So I simply wait until the first quart comes and then remove that and add it to my Fire Water glass bottle storage.

Experiments

I did a simple experiment to see how the 4 fractional waters behaved by freezing the waters. The Fire water was the last to freez and the air water was a larger piece of ice when frozen indicating more air in there.
I've also used the different fractions when making HHO gas. The fire water seemed to work better than the rest. Many more experiments can be done with these. For instance trying the different fractions with plants to see which one they like best. Please comment back here if you do have any results worth sharing.
